Our Main Focus...

To offer experiences which will help develop your child with a positive sense of self worth and value. We also strive to provide each child with social, creative, physical and emotional skills. We will provide them with lots of love and attention along with lots of fun daily activities to help them learn and grow. We believe all children should have a safe and happy environment. We do not allow hitting, biting, yelling, and name calling at any time. Children will be encouraged through positive reinforcement. We provide a daily structured program with an emphasis on creative art. Our program has daily crafts, songs, stories, circle time and so much more. We also enjoy being outside. If weather is acceptable we will be outside for at least an hour each day.

Child Safety & Nutrition

All employees are CPR and First-Aid certified, the facility has working and up to date smoke detectors and fire extinguisher, as well as working carbon monoxide detectors. Toys and equipment are cleaned regularly. We are familiar and follow all Family Child Care Home Licensing Laws & Regulations, as well as, Safe Sleep Practices & Regulations.

At Jenkins Family Child Care we follow California's state requirements for licensed child care facilities for nutrition, physical activity and screen time. We believe each meal is an opportunity to grow healthy and strong and to develop good habits. We provide breakfast, lunch, and PM snack for each child.
